Across the country, Coast Guard volunteers and staff make an extraordinary contribution to their communities, offering reassurance, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to those who live, work, and travel along Ireland’s coasts and offshore islands. The Coast Guard’s aviation service delivers a fully integrated national search and rescue and maritime casualty capability along with strengthened maritime environmental monitoring, enhancing the overall service provided to the public.
